In Nashville you can park that big truck up by Vanderbuilt and catch the tour busses that criss cross the city from there. Free on and off for 2 days on one of the vendors at least.
There is an awful lot to see and do there if you like Country. Don't miss the Opryland Hotel, the Opry itself, Music Row, Honkytonk Hwy, the Ryman, Country Music HOF, all the side streets of off Broadway, it goes an and on like this sentence.

If you want the Bluebird Cafe or the Opry get reservations way in advance and take your chances of the artists. The Opry does that anyway as they never know who is in town until very close to show dates.
There is a huge COE lake just east of town off of 40 with multiple campgrounds. It books early.
