First of all the opening you found around your power cord, is one of MANY holes they can get in from. water inlets, electrical ins and outs etc., from the manuf cutting holes wider than needed and not filling them up.
Go out at night and turn the lights on inside your RV and then crawl underneath. You will be surprised at the light show and just how many 'light holes' you will find under your RV!!!
Then get yourself a can of "Pestblock Great Stuff" which expands and fill all the openings.
