Min. distance
Is there a recommended minimum distance between the top of truck box and the bottom of the over hang of the trailer.

- Between 5 and 6 inches with no problems but my travels are limited to pretty smooth roads. I do have the option of airing up my hitch to gain an additional 1 1/2 inches should things get uneven.
- 5 inches clearance here, BUT I watch it carefully on uneven terrain.

- anything over 6 is great. Some RV'ers are able to get away with 5 inches.
