I have a 2006 Chevy 2500HD and a 2006 Thor Tahoe 22RK widelite. I was told by the guy that sold me the 5th wheel that using mirror extinction was no use. That it gave no extra view of your trailer. Is...
I'd answer it this way, looking at signs on some trucks while in the same lane and behind them. The sign reads "if you can't see my mirrors I can't see you." Hook up your rig, using the stock mirrors and see how much you can see from the drivers seat. Then walk behind the trailer to about where a Vehicle behind you could be and see if you can see the stock mirrors. Proper mirrors not only help you, but others as well.
