Cdlaine, out of curiosity, why wouldn't you have called Northwood? I will agree that a mind is a terrible thing to waste...unless a good single malt in involved. :-)

Thanks for the option Randy... I think the solution
is to replace (as above) but if not , your idea warrants
consideration.

If you cannot find an original part, what about the plastic plug on desks that you feed your computer and telephone cables through. You might be able to modify one to fit and I'm sure they are easy to find. Good luck.

I think I would orient it like the CW photo shows, not how it was originally. that way the cord coming out would rest on the outside disk, not on the lid.

That may be the ticket ! I was using incorrect nomenclature.
And it appears the local CW has it in stock... hmmm... guessing
I just have to drill out the remaining rivets and substitute
provided screws.

note to self... looks like this was self inflicted as I was
using the smaller hatch (30 amp)for my 50 amp cable on creel.
Operator error. Will try to do better next time.

another note...have to laugh...I titled the post with the semi-correct
nomenclature, but did my search using nautical terms... a mind is a
terrible thing to waste.

That is an extension cord... in storage I leave the RV plugged
in.... works for me.

Bumpy,

No luck...

It's always the little plastic widgets that are hardest to
track.... probably should buy 2 when located. The search
continues....no identifying marketing on the remaining piece.
