Momentum 355 - anything to watch out for?

We have been talking about a different toy hauler for a little over a year.

We will pick up our new trailer after we get back from vacation (life is tough - ain't it?;) )

My question, is there anything in particular we need to look at carefully when we do our PDI? It's a new unit and we are experienced campers, but I don't know about Grand Design.

Our Adrenaline has never needed warranty work other than the fridge recall so we have been very spoiled. I am hoping that the Momentum will be the same.

Any tips? Thanks.

    I'd say from what I've seen and read on them is to watch out for the possibility of having too much fun with them!!

    We have a Momentum 355 and love it. There are a few quirks like the light switch in the garage is not near the door and you have to turn off the rear fridge if you sleep in the garage because the light will blind you. Its a very well built trailer.

    We have had no problems at all with our 355. Taking it in tomorrow for a recall over one of the bolts in the suspension that the dealer contacted me about. Only other time I have had it back to the dealer in the last 1-1/2 years of ownership was because I ripped the back steps off! Top notch units!

    I follow the Grand Design Forum as we were very impressed with the Momentum floorplans and will (hopefully) be ordering one this fall. When it comes to customer service, HOLY COW! This company is all over it. Simply amazing! As mentioned, check out the forum. There is active feed back from customer service, line manager, as well as the CEO. They're always listening to our ideas and immediately addressing issues.

    No tips but I'll be very interested in reading your take on your new toy over the next couple of years. I have been impressed with the designs and layouts of the various GD models and the things I've read about them. Hopefully you'll continue your luck that you had with the Adrenaline quality with the new Momentum.
