Montana 305 RLS
My DW and myself recently visited a Montana dealership on a snowy and cold day and were interested in looking at a Montana 305 RLS. The sales rep took us outside to the Montana and as we stepped inside the rep said " the Montana has cable operated slides and you will not like the cable slides". So my questions are as follows:
1. What is the down side of the cable operated slides?
2. When did Montana start using the cable operated slides?
3. Are operating a cable slide in snow and cold weather not advised?
So I am interested in what you the owners or previous owners of cable operated slides have to say on the subject?
The sales rep ended up showing us a Grand Design Reflection instead of the Montana. So what's everyone opinion on comparing the two units? We will be going to the RV Super Show in Cleveland in Jan and will look at the Montana brand from a different dealership.
Thanks in advance for all of your comments as I have learned a lot from you fine members of this site.
