Mor Ryde RE suspension

I have the Mor Ryde RE suspension on my Carriage 33CKQ and when I checked it it had chunks of rubber missing on the bottom (maybe up about and inch). I realize this should be replaced but should I be worried about pulling it in this state? I contacted Mor Ryde and got the part number and they recommended the wet bolt system all so but didn't recommend a repair facility in Saskatchewan Canada
