More Bighorn problems
I have a Bighorn 3600 RL. I have had more problems with this trailer than a dog has flees! My latest issue is with the front electric landing jacks. We are on a two month trip. When we were at a campground near Butte, MT, I tried to raise the front of the trailer to hookup. The driver side jack made a loud clacking sound and then refused to move. The passenger side moved normally. Had to use a bottle jack on the driver side to raise front of trailer to hookup. Mobile repair in Butte and Sheridan, WY were not able to help. Bypassed Yellowstone and came to Loveland, CO where I knew I could get help. Dealership found sheer pin on driver side jack sheered off. Replaced and everything seemed okay, but I still wasn't convinced. At campground next morning, I tried to raise the front of trailer but got the same clanking noise as before and neither side would work. Mobile guy came out and found that the motor is bad. Having one overnighted because we are at a campground that has no room for us on Friday. Has anyone else had this sort of problem with electric landing jacks?
PS..on this trip, the vent hood over stove came completely down and a bolt on the kitchen slide sheered off . And then the landing gear!
