The Montana line up is now Montana, Montana legacy, Montana Big Sky
Not sure were the Montana High Country fits in now but it is a wide body.
The Montana in the new line up looks a lot like the previous Mountaineer and the Montana legacy looks a lot like the Montana. The big sky is now built on a separate line. If I were in the market I would wait till I saw the new lines before purchasing. There are many upgrades and improvements.
Looks like the Montana line is getting narrower. Post#46

bigdon68 - abc40kidsExplorerThe Mountaineer line will be called something else, was told but can't remember. It will now be a light-weight fifth wheel. I know the Mountaineer I've had my eye on, the 356TBF 2015 isn't lacking much in the way of extra frills. It's got just about all you could ask for.
- Mile_HighExplorerThe Mountaineer was always the "less frills" version of the Montana. As Rich said, production stopped. You may have to go to a Cougar or Laredo if you are wanting to stay in the Keystone arena.
The High Country Montana was a lightweight - kind of like the Cougar X-light. Just something introduced to grab the 3/4 ton market. - rehlessExplorerWe have a 2012 Mountaineer 29'. Would not buy another one. Should have been too smart to buy this one.

We have a 38' Montana High Country and have been severely disappointed in the workmanship. The dealer had to re-caulk all of the interior cabinet door panels because they fell out. The cable slides needed several adjustments, just a lot of little aggravating things.
What year build? - MrVanExplorerI would expect that actual construction quality to be about the same which is quite poor but I would expect higher quality components to be used in the Montana.
- BB_TXNomadThe Mountaineer is the lower end of the Montana line. Think of the Mountaineer, High Country, Montana, and Big Sky sort of like the Ford Superduty XLT is to the Lariat, is to the King Ranch, is to the Platinum.
But as noted above, the Mountaineer has been discountinued, although I am sure there are still new ones available that have not been sold yet. And also the shortest Montana is 35' long. The Montana High Country starts at 32'
