Moving a 5th wheel with a tractor

Question

First, thanks for reading this.I park our pull along with a Kubota L2501 tractor. The parking area is gravel. &nbsp;It does a great job of this but we are considering a 5th wheel. With 1900+ pounds of lift capacity the Kubota can deal with the 5th wheel pin weight of 1385 pounds. My problems are how to attach the 5th wheel to the tractor's 3 point hitch and hitting the 5th wheels cap with the tractor's roll bar. I am not comfortable with removing the roll bar. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for your kind replies. After digesting the ideas here, I think we need to widen the road in front of the barn, add some gravel and use the one ton truck to back this in. &nbsp;The FW has prep for a back up camera so that will help.&nbsp;

If you look at most RV dealerships, they have a FW attachment on the bucket/loader not the 3 point hitch. There are some 3 point adapters as well though. Just google "Fifth wheel attachment for tractor" and a search yields both. They aren't cheap. FW pin weight is usually about 20% of the weight of the FW so you would have to consider the lift capacity of your tractor. Your 1900 wouldn't be enough for most FWs. Not sure what the loader/break point is on your tractor. What FW you are looking at? It would have to be a model under 8k lbs. I guess some half ton FWs are out there. Don't you have a truck to move it?

The FW we are looking at is R301RKS. It's pin weight is listed at 1385 LBS. I think the tractor is up to it. I am just concerned about the roll bar on the tractor. I have a one ton diesel truck but getting the trailer parked using the tractor would be a whole lot easier. This is due to tight clearances.

That's a 10,000lb GVWR trailer, expect it to be north of 2000lb hitch weight when loaded for camping. I would doubt the 1385lb when it rolled off the factor floor (usually that's the design but they always come out a bit heavier.

As mentioned, every campground we've seen that moves 5ers with tractors uses a pin attachment on a bucket or forklift on the front.

Most 3 point tractor hitches don't lift that high, so I presume you would need some structure. Assuming the pin is 3-4ft behind the roll bar and the roll bar is only 3ft wide, it probably won't be an issue but some quick measurements and you should be able to figure it out.

thats a small light eight&nbsp; tractor for moving a 10k gvwr 5th wheel trailer from the rear lift.I have a 8200 lb blue tractor but wouldn't attempt&nbsp; from the rear lift. now if the parking area ia smooth with no soft spots or objects a trailer wheel would have to go over then using reverse only may work.&nbsp;My neighbor used my 36' triaxle GN stock trailer with his new 85 hp NH tractor with a cab with a rear 5th wheel ball adapter like those in the above clicky. Going forward the right side trailer tires dropped in a soft spot ....... causing enough drag raising the tractors front wheels enough for back of cab/GN trailer frame contact. Damage was a busted cab glass. He backed up and went around&nbsp; but after loading his stock used his 4wd 2500 chevy truck&nbsp; getting out..&nbsp;&nbsp;Pulling trailers from the rear lift is the best idea.&nbsp; Be carefulThe tri axle trailer weighs 7640 lb&nbsp; empty.....the Red NH&nbsp; tractor rigged like his weighs approx 9400-9500 lbs.
