Moving in the rain

Same as moving any other time, just a lot wetter. Just don't take any shoretcuts, do everything just like you would if it wasn't raining. Sorry.

Just hook it up and go. It's only water.
I run my TT in heavy rain a lot.
Just make sure everything is closed up.

Going to hurt you (get wet) more than the 5vr.

We once spent four days on the Oregon Coast, we setup in pouring rain and wind,'had two nice days the packed up in pouring rain and wind, nothing special. Other than the rain gear I was wearing.

I have driven thru heavy rain and thunderstorms, just slower.

Done it many times with our TT's over the years. Just put on a pair of swimming shorts and an old T-shirt and hitch up! Once hitched and ready to pull out, change clothes. Toss wet stuff in the shower stall, and drive to the next location. If still raining, put swim shorts back on and set up! Simple, easy, and it lets you get the job done!

As you bring in the slides, put paper towels around the seals but still on the inside. If your seals leak, you will see the telltale wet spots.

Do you believe that 5ers are only designed to tow in dry weather? We seldom tow in dry weather living in the PNW. Heavy rain, sleet, snow and standing water on the road, all in a normal day of towing in the PNW.

Rain coat?
