Mud Flaps
We seem to splash mud onto the front of the 5er even when we are only driving on pavement. What kind of mud flaps can all you experts recommend that will prevent this? Thanks.

If the auto mfrs would install =real= windshields again, you'd also have less glass damage. Just sayin'...

My experience has been less windshield damage with my 11 and 15 RAM's because of the lower angle of their windshields.
If I do need to replace a windshield I insist on OE of PPG as most replacements are POS Chinese Made.
When I started having my "own" trucks to drive, I started off with a '68, then a '74, '78, '82. I also drove various other trucks on the farm. It took a good-sized rock to even chip those windshields, though I did manage to put a .22 through my '82's once. :B Hell, my '02's glass has taken some good hits and has about 3 chips in it, and has had them for 10+ years; none have propagated. My '99, however, seemed to need glass about every 12-18 months and a piece of gravel seemed to chip it bad enough to start a crack. Also, if you look at glass, you'll find that it's likely 1/3 to 1/2 the thickness of older glass, just to save 3-4 lbs' weight. I'd rather have the weight and never have to deal with replacing glass and burn, what?, an extra gallon of gas in 10 years.
