I keep reading about how much stiffer ST sidewalls are than LT tires, but in what direction? I can feel the sidewalls flex on the ST tires I removed from my toyhauler to replace with LT tires. When I compare them side by side, I cannot in any way, shape, or form reach the conclusion that the sidewalls on the ST tire are stiffer than the LT tires. I can sit on the LT tires and the sidewalls barely flex at all, but do the same and the ST tires noticeably flex and distort.
Actually to my way of thinking ST tires should flex more easily since the trailer tires crab in turns. Pretty much a moot point though since I'll never have ST tires on another trailer.
