Well it's obvious that you don't plan to move that RV any time soon.
Correct. We bought it here in the resort, where it has lived its whole life. We did move it to a different lot though. If we needed to move it the rigid insulation on the slides can be easily removed with about an hour of work. In fact, everything I did could be reversed in a matter of an afternoon. But mostly, these 5ers in the park live out their lives here.
As to the Teton - - The main trailer is very well insulated, walls, floors, ceilings. The slides are only insulated in the walls. That leaves exposed floors and ceilings. I would call it four seasons, as long as the extremes of cold and hot were reasonable. I would bet the Teton designers considered summer to be no more than 100F. You would be surprised how different 122 is from 100! It feels TWICE as hot. And with blazing sun for 14 hours, well, it would take 6" walls and ceilings to protect against that. I wasn't at all unhappy with the Teton - it's build like a tank. I was rather surprised what 122F for 14 hours can do to the inside of a trailer!
Our electric bill this month will be $515.00
