Example. Our truck is rated to tow up to 17,050 pounds. We installed hitch rated to 18k. And guess what we are now looking at trailers with 16 to 16.5k GVWR.

Excellent advice me again. I'm not going to tell what kind of hitch to purchase. I had a 16k Drawtite slider for 9 years. Drawtite is a Reese with a different sticker . Now I have a B&W Patriot. Love it, Excellent hitch.
