First thing I did when I got my last trailer was drop the underbelly. Out of the 4 trailers I've owned the bracing for tank support was not up to the task. Spent a couple days adding steel, tying up loose wires and fixing all the short cuts that are taken during assembly. No issues since. Time well spent, I know where everything is located and how it operates should I ever have a problem on the road.
Id agree. Loose the underbelly. Then, what would it take to just leave it off?
I'm glad my featherlite never had any underbelly and I can see whats going on. No hidden areas.
