Folks-I am looking for help here. My 2013 Dutchmen Infinity blew a line leading into one of the leveling rams. Now the system cannot even extend the landing gear rams to pick it off the truck. I already had to tow it to an independent store while I was 2,000 miles away on vacation on an overnight stop to get the slides back in but now I'm home, cannot get the CW service manager i had been working with and need the FW off so I can get back to work! Any ideas?Thanks!

Try a couple of cheap floor jacks blocked up to reach the bottom of the landing pads jack each one a little at a timeSafety block under the front of the frame for luck and it should lift right upGood Luck, Mike

I would put a HEAVY piece of lumber, like a 6x6, or steel beam is better across the frame rails just behind the landing gear, floor jack to support the weight while you get out from under it, then lower onto the landing gear. Chock the heck out of it before starting.

I would get 2ea, 12 ton bottle jacks and place 1 on each side of trailer on frame just behind the inoperable landing gear. Chock wheels and use wood blocks to get jacks close to frame. Give about 6 or 7 pumps per side alternating to have trailer come up fairly even. Make sure to get all weight off of truck as you want to pull straight out without any unnecessary movement of the trailer. Reverse procedure when ready to pull to a repair facility. Randu

Randu is spot on with the process. Wheels choked fron and rear on BOTH sides.

After getting it off of the truck, I would use sections of 4x4 fence post about 15" long stacked like Lincoln Logs as cribbing under the landing gear pads to support it off the jack(s). You don't want to let it all the way down to the ground (you have to get it back up sooner or later) and you definitely should not leave it on the jacks.

Need a FW w/ failed hydralic system & 6 point sys off truck

Even electrically operated mechanical landing gear break. I have one of my legs off of 5er now with a bad gear. Parts on order. Such is life. Hope you have a better day.

There is a manual work around for pump failure but nothing for burst line. Nothing moves or stays put with out system pressure. Same applies to your hydraulic yard equipment like wood splitters. No line pressure --no work. Randu

All, thanks for the suggestions. I was able to get it to CW eventually and they got enough pressure in the system to drop the landing gears. The system could not however push all the slides and retract them during our walk through. You could even smell how hot the system was from trying... I have no idea what kind of real damage has been done to that system, and I'm not looking forward to finding out.

Replace the hydraulic line. Take the old one off and into the nearest farm and tractor center. Many have the fittings and hose to make a new hydraulic line plus hydraulic fluid. Just have to install the new line and add hydraulic fluid then bleed air to fill all the lines.
