For me it was not about having to find fuel but the frequency of the fill. My truck came with a puny 26 gallon tank with about 23 usable. At 9-10 MPG when towing it seemed like I was filling all the time. I have a 50 gallon now and I like it much better. I can take just as many breaks when driving but I can choose the spots now. Plus I like only having to fill the tank once a week or less when I am using the truck unloaded.
