Bought the truck with an aux. tank installed. The capacity of the tank/toolbox seems to be around 35-40 gal. Towing a heavy trailer it is very nice to have. Lets us play the 'who has the cheapest diesel game' a bit & gives the added security of range when traveling the more remote roads of the West & going to Alaska where fuel stations can be far between. Tank switching, draw & return, is done from inside the cab.
