Need advice on Aux Fuel Tank
I am going to have to add an Aux tank for my F350 6.7 Thinking about in bed 50 Gal or so...I have looked at all the websites and combos...I have went from the TOP o Line Tool box combo with in cab ind...

I went with the gravity flow because it was simple - just an on/off valve needed. But it is a very slow flow rate (3/8 inch line ?). That really has no effect because the flow is higher then the fuel usage if you need to drive down the road with it 'on'. I just flip the switch to 'on' when I stop for the night. I could not see the advantage in using an electric pump either.
I think if you wanted to install a fuel filter system between the aux tank and the OEM tank, then you might want an electric pump. Not sure gravity flow would pull fuel through the filter very well.
