I went with the gravity flow because it was simple - just an on/off valve needed. But it is a very slow flow rate (3/8 inch line ?). That really has no effect because the flow is higher then the fuel usage if you need to drive down the road with it 'on'. I just flip the switch to 'on' when I stop for the night. I could not see the advantage in using an electric pump either.
I think if you wanted to install a fuel filter system between the aux tank and the OEM tank, then you might want an electric pump. Not sure gravity flow would pull fuel through the filter very well.
