The tank I put in my truck, is plumbed right into the factory fuel pump. This way if I do get contamination in one tank, I can still use the other. The system is flawless and so far I've used the same tank in 2 trucks. I chose a smaller tank (36 gallons) so it fits under my rolling bed cover but they have all sizes and configurations. "American tank" was easy to work with.
