Need help fast regarding new 5th wheel hitch

I took my 5th wheel in for inspection and my hitch bound up where I couldn't open or close it. It is a R & W Little Rocker 15k hitch. The people at the shop managed to get it open and discovered that the steel bar that closes across the pin was bent upward. They took the head off and beat the bar and managed to get it straight. They also applied heat to accomplish this. The tech warned me that this will weaken the metal and to consider replacing the hitch. The Little Rocker is no longer made.

I am considering replacing with the B & W Patriot as it will fit my universal rails and it appears that it open and closes rather easily. This is important to me as I am disabled and just can't beat on the hitch to get it open anymore.

Is this a good replacement hitch? I do NOT need a slider hitch as I have an 8 foot bed.

If not he Patriot what hitch and why? I need to get this ordered ASAP as we have a trip coming up soon and I do not want to use that old hitch.
