Need help, frozen water!

We live full time in our 5th when and we use our fresh water tank which we have to fill up every 4 or 5 days and also empty out black, galley, and grey tanks. Last night before I went to bed I turned on our tank heaters (artic pack) I had my heat running as well as a space heater on in my bedroom. When I woke up this morning no water would come out of the faucet and the water pump made no noise at all. I turned my pump off, and I'm hoping that the water thaws out through the day but the high is only 37F. I'm not sure if the pipes are frozen or if the water in my tanks is froze. Any help would be greatly appreciated we are very new to this it's only our third month living in this. Thank you, Kelly.

  • use electric heater or hairdryer (on low) to gently thaw lines and pump. Use an low wattage light bulb in a suitable lamp near the pump and water lines. Hope nothing is frozen hard yet. Check for leaks.
  • Check around the pump for any exposed pipes. Look for elbows as they freeze before the pipes.
Uses hair dryer to warm up pipes and pump.
    Where is pump located?
Do you have heat from furnace into utility bins?
  • X2 on Old Biscuits comment. Plus I always have a small quartz heater in the storage aimed at the tank and pump on really cold nights.
  • Typically it is the suction line from tank to pump that freezes

If possible blow air across pump and down suction line

Open up cabinet area around pump so warm air can circulate
