I don't think there's anything special for RV vs any other automotive application... perhaps some additional database features for RV parks, et al maybe? Databases can be updated easily on most if not all GPS units.
My understanding was you program your height, width and length and it keep you out of places you don't want to be in. Like the units the truckers use. I don't want to go thru some little road that a car fits fine to find a 9' bridge, on a one way road with no exits.
