Need new GPS looking at RV GPS what do you like

Our old GPS is on the blink so need a new one. Never had one for RV just one's for car. SO looking for RV GPS now. Have always had Garmin as we are from KS & was told years ago they were more user ...

got a question...

what do the dedicated GPS units bring that Google Maps or TruckerPath and iExit apps on a smartphone don't already do?

TruckerPath will get you to 13ft on a trailer..

I don't ever use my GPS anymore. Magellan, nor the Nav unit in my Ford truck. Google Maps gets updated frequently.. I have to buy updates for both the others whenever they decide its worth updating. we carry two smartphones all the time. (and they are plugged in all the time like GPS would need to be).
