In 2/1/2 years from now the tires will be replaced because of the miles we put on...but they will be ST's.
I put about 10K miles per year on my RV.
The failures were on my previous trailer with ST tires. I owned that trailer for 10 years. I towed it through all the lower 48 states.
They would fail at 30-40 months of age. No tread wear. Some blow outs, others developed side wall balloons that were caught before they blew.
Just to be clear, I was within weight ratings for my tires. I have RVSEF individual tire weights to prove it. I never tow in excess of 65 mph. I check the tire pressure before every tow.
I wish you luck with your ST's. I'm afraid you'll join the "club" around the 30th month of service. The miles seem to make less difference than age.
