Need Scotty Air Filter Replacement

I have a 2004 1/2 Dodge 5.9 diesel with a Scotty air filter and now need a replacement , hopefully in kind.

Can't find Scotty on-line so was wondering where you are getting a replacement filter to fit in the plastic case that came with the Scotty system. I believe it is a Scotty 1.

If this filter is no longer available then what filter would you recommend?

    Yes, Scotty is long gone, about the time you said. I owned them back in the old days. Here is what came in them originally......

    For the scotty

    Of course , this will bring the k & N police out of the woodwork. I used mine for many years, great results, in my 2001 Dodge. AFE filters may have a dry element with the same dimensions.

    A Scotty air filter is a high performance after market engine air filter that I believe went out of business I around 2006.

    What I want is a replacement filter to fit into the Scotty plastic housing. The filter is 4.5 inches in diameter and 12 inches long.

    What is a "Scotty air filter"? What air does it filter? If you mean the stock filter for the engine air,you can get them from any Dodge dealer.

    If not that filter,please clue us in about the Scotty filter.

    I have the same truck and I never heard of nor read anything in the owners manual about Scotty filters
