Need some advice

The toy hauler forum has a listing of the various makes of haulers, worth taking a look at. I looked at one trailer that had the best bath and kitchen of any trailer I've looked at. However the main bed was a drop down that couldn't be used with the bike inside. Therefore, no deal. My current trailer has a couple of compromises that I decided I could live with for the convenience of having the bike inside.

Thank you for all the responses to my post. It is true that the kitchen doesn't compare to most of the rigs out there and you do loose some of the plush comforts.The upside is that it does have lots of storage outside the rig. We will take a look at the measurements to ensure we can use the bedroom area if/when the bikes need to be inside. It may be best to face the bikes out (w/a wench system) to ensure the bedroom is fully usable.We are lucky if the bikes need to be inside when we are camping because we are here in California and most of the time the weather isn't too much of a concern. It is definitely set up more for "use" vs "comforts" so I am torn but it would allow us to hit the road and camp with the bikes. Wish I knew if there were any others out there. Can't find any.....

That design would also mean that your Toys must stay outside at night and in any weather.

I have been in one and they are definitely different. Different enough that I didn't like it. I don't own a toyhauler but have looked into getting one for quite a while now so I have been in many. Before walking in I thought they had the design idea of the year. After looking around I saw issues. Biggest one being the main bedroom being out of use when toys are loaded.

That is an interesting design that I haven't seen before. I agree on the small living area. Would like to see one designed like that in a 39' to 41' range.

The living area is not that large, and the kitchen has no counter space. If you keep the bikes inside during bad weather, the love seat could be pulled out to sleep but looks like it could be cramped for two people...

These are things that would concern me , but may not matter to you...You should take the advise of the previous poster and attend some winter RVshows or go to a dealer that has a TQ270. Heartland also has the EDGE line of haulers, if you would like to stay with Heartland...:B

I see what happens looking at the sideshow views. The bedroom raises up to make room for the garage.



Looks like nice layout... I guess the side garage door is usable when the bed is down...
