Now that you found a diesel shop to 'justify' your overweight decision (hence their own recommendation for airbags :S ) take the truck/trailer all loaded up for camping (everybody in truck, all that stuff inside cab and trailer fully stocked with all the 'goodies' to a CAT Scale and get WEIGHED.
THEN after weighing POST the actual weigh numbers.
You will be OVERWEIGHT ----- heck you will be MAX'd just towing trailer home EMPTY (DRY Pin 3400#-----you don't even have enough R/Axle to carry that let along 'wet' oin when you load trailer)
Still time to get a reality check.......
Look at the Cargo Carrying Capacity on YOUR TRUCK DOOR JAMB
Go get truck weighed....check R/Axle weight against RAWR....not enough left for that 3400# DRY pin weight
Add/Subtract....simple MATH
NOT enough truck
But Diesel Performance Shop says OK :S
When facts are presented..real/actual numbers...and ignored that is POOR Decision making process.
