why will Oregon not allow a double tow.

I have a 30ft 5er, would love to pull my 12 boat behind to OR. hope someday they change
Call it what you like - but make it simple.....
To tow *two* trailers in California you will need at least a one ton tow vehicle, and a Class A license
The total length of the vehicles can not exceed 65 feet - with exceptions....such as the overhang of a boat *on* a trailer, which usually will make the limit 75 ft.
The above is why the list previously posted for the states that allow triple tow (or double tow) will usually have more hoops to jump through - than just a simple ....it's OK..:S
You *MUST* check with your state regs - and there is not reciprocity
between states for length and number of trailers towed..:W
BTW - search "Double Tow" - and you will find several threads/posts by CA residents who are doing same.

California allows double tow for those from other States as long as you meet the requirements of your home State.
In summary, nonresidents may tow two trailers with a non-commercial license IF their base state allows it.
