I know what you mean about loving the front living. We bought a 2016 Jayco Pinnacle 38FLSA last year and absolutely love the layout. Folks have given you lots of great advice on here. Sounds like you are being smart and getting all your ducks in a row before pulling the trigger. Here is my 2 cents worth. If you are waiting until August, you are heading into the end of camping season unless you are a snowbird heading South for the Winter. The 2019 models are out and this means the deals are only going to get better on the 2018 models. We bought our 2016 in JAN 2017. It was brand new, added the B&W Companion hitch and satellite dish and was below the price of the 3700SL you are looking at before throwing in the TT for trade. If you are on a three plan to retirement, take your time look around and remember there are deals to be had in the off season. If you do look around, check out floorplans with a second entry door. These will often give you better access when the slides are in.
