This looks like a new bumper pull toy hauler from GD. Nice setup with an 11' garage, 2nd bath, everything accessible with the slide in and a length under 34'. I am not a fan of the slide in the porch area, but it seems like a decent compromise considering all you get under 34'. Any thoughts on a Toy hauler bumper pull of this length? My quad bunk is approx the same exact length. It works well because my Driveway is exactly 34' long which means I can put this camper on my driveway and not hang over the sidewalk.I was looking at 5th wheels, but my truck isn't prepped for one yet and I like my truck cap. However, I have heard toy haulers of this length in a bumperpull can be difficult to tow from the added weight at the back. Any thoughts on this? My QB pulls fine with my Ram 2500. My rental F250 struggled with sway.If I do 5th wheel I am leaning towards the Nitro 29DK5 (38') and Carbon 337 (36')

What's the weight of the one you're looking at? With that long of a trailer, you'll have a lot of tongue weight and need to upgrade the hitch to stay within specs.

I haven't weighed my current trailer, but I have a feeling it's not far off when loaded up, ready to camp and on par with a car hauler I use once in a while.'16 Ram has a Class 5 hitch which is rated 1700lbs with WD. Specs on the Trailer claim 1250 hitch weight, which seems light to me...My ram was getting work this weekend so I had to rent an F250 (2019). My camper pushed that truck around about as much as my Tundra when I had it. When it's hooked up to my Ram it's straight as an arrow and I need to check to make sure it's still back there.

I like that floor plan a lot. I don't know what year your truck is or gas diesel, but if newer and bonus if diesel, I bet it would tow it fine. It won't be like a fifth wheel but you would get to keep your bed available.

I have a '16 2500 ram Diesel.I would love to keep my bed since I have a cap.

So the wife seems to like the layout as well. We are going to try and locate one and see if they will let us drive it around with a load to see how it handles behind my truck.

Our old bumper pull was in the 31' range. Raptor 27FS which they no longer make, was a Carbon 27 for awhile too but looks like they don't make that either. Anyway, it was a nightmare with an F150 (duh haha), and it was much better with a 2014 F250 Platinum. Then we got a 2015 F350 dually and it was real nice :) Our 5er we have now is a breeze, but that's to be expected.

That floor plan does look nice. Nice to have a bit of counter space in the kitchen, so many bumper pull toyhaulers with a separate garage do not.

I am having a hard time finding a bumper pull with separate garage under 38'.

Looks like they have 6K lb axles and 12K GVWR so everything is rated properly. UVW on most of them are coming in around 9K lbs.

I doubt very much you'll find a dealer that will let you take a new, unsold trailer, load toys in it and tow it around, don't get your hopes up.

Our old one was exactly that, but it doesn't look like they make it anymore new. Found this 2018... https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2018-Keystone-CARBON-27-5004234003

Positives were the layout with the separate garage and bathroom location. Negatives were how you had to crawl into the bed and lack of storage. 9' garage is on the small side too, but that's why it's only 31'.
