We came from a Heartland North Trail TT. Northwood's products IMO are more thought out and better engineered than Heartlands. I like the fact that it's an in house frame. I've had a chance to really look over the 5'er and the more I look the more I'm really impressed. Lots of nice little touches that you don't see all the time. Like the fresh water drain valve with a pull handle. The opening is about 1-1/2" in dia and the water gushes out. Really nice wood work thru out. The stereo came with a 5.1 speaker setup with a subwoofer. It has two fantastic fans, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. The one in the bedroom has a remote to set the speed according to temp. It automatically opens the vent and starts the fan. LED recessed lighting in the kitchen/dinning area. Swivel spot lights over the dinette, couch and bed. Speakers in the bedroom, kitchen, dinette area and outside. Two way opening for front storage, so you can access the front cargo area with the truck hooked up. All standard items. The dealer also installed two batteries. And even though it has a dry (brochure weight of 7185lbs it has 4315lbs of CCC. That shows how tough the frame and suspension are. It's not really a cheap light weight 5'er.
I'm sure it's not bullet proof and some issues will crop up over time. But initially the unit seems very sturdy and well built.
