Down here, we don't get nearly the snow you guys do. But I decided to leave my F350 (gas) without the snow plow. I pull a 22' trailer with a New Holland T2220 fitted with a 7.6 Meyer Drive Pro. Behind it is a 2014 Polaris 850 with 60" Glacier Pro. When it does snow here, we usually stay out right at 24 hours before we finish.
Why do I say this? Both the tractor and ATV work like dogs 2-3 times per winter and then the rest of the year, they're toys. All tax-deducted. :)
As for the OP. I too believe you'll be fine. I'd do it in a heartbeat.
