Back in 2007 Goodyear was the only real choice. However in 2017 we have options. The price difference between the Sailun's and Goodyear will pay for a 2nd insurance policy.;)

As you said GY backed up their tires, you did not have an insurance claim like you would with any other tire maker.

Except my 2007 G614's BLEW at 3 1/2 yrs old
GY PAID for replacement and DAMAGES----BAD tires

Then my 2010 G614 BLEW at 2 yrs old
GY again PAID-----bad tires

They had the carcasses returned to them, inspected them BEFORE they made the decision to pay claims. THEY stated bad tires not me.






AS for the GY Tires in article........isn't the article about D thru E load range tires :H

IMHO, the Sailun S637 for half the price is arguably the better tire, its certainly gotten better reviews then the G614's.

Since 2007 the GY "G" and "H" tires have been the GOLD standard. If you want to talk price fine but you have no proof the Sailun is a better tire.

Well, the Sailun is as good a tire at half the price, that does indeed make it a better choice if not a necessarily better tire. But when there were maybe two choices of "G" and "H" tires for RV's, being the GOLD standard wasn't really saying too much. :) And there for a couple years those GOLD standard tires were having some issues themselves.

Hard to beat the 6 year warranty.
