I have never understood why rv decals peel. We came from the boating world and always used decals to apply the boat name and home port. These decals would last 20 years with no peeling in a very harsh environment. Salt water, heavy dew and sun everyday.
Rv manufacturers must do special research to find decals that will only last two or three years.
So very true. Got 10 years of diesel soot, harsh cleaning chemicals to get the soot off, salt & sun before I decided to replace the boat name.
If available, get marine grade material. Yeah it costs more but the labour to make & install it is the same. Better to be putting on something that lasts 10 years than junk that looks like junk in 5.
