I have started the process with Forest River to see about getting the 6000lb axles replaced with 7000lb axles. After doing the math, with a full tank of water I will have 653lbs of cargo capacity the way it sits, and I have yet to put anything into it. I called customer service yesterday and was told by the gentleman I spoke with that these are heavy trailers and don't have much CCC, I pushed him a little more and he then told me the dealer should have ordered it with the 7000lb axles to begin with. I have another contact at Forest River that is familiar with this issue and I have emailed him today, hopefully he will respond or call me soon and we can discuss.
