new sewer hose container

Hey all... Newby here but I searched and didn't find anything on this dirty little topic. I'm taking my 07 Hitchhiker out of storage to do the "get ready" for our annual Memorial weekend visit to Okoboji, IA.

Since I love gadgets, I was surfing around on the internet and ran across what's called the "Pivot-EZ" Sewer Hose Compartment. It's by a company called BT RV Innovations. Since messing with my sewer hose is my least favorite job and usually my LAST memory of a great camping trip, this intrigued me.

They claim that there's no storing the stinky hose in the basement. and it swings around so I can leave my slinky at home. (Another plus)

Does anyone have one? If so, how do you like it? Would you order one for your next 5th wheel? It looks like it might hang a bit low. Any issues with that?

The price seems reasonable if it delivers as promised.

  • I carry 30ft of hose so this would be of little use for me.
  • Don't see that this saves anything other than a little space in storage. Still have to pull out the slinky to connect to the dump station, which is about the dirtiest part of the equation.
  • Interesting and I think for $169 (amazon) I will stick with my 5" PVC fence post storage.
