Horror stories. Lost both passenger side tires to a road gator going west on I-15 out of Las Vegas. Catastrophic failure on I-40 at nowhere NM. Steel valve stem was gone. At least 20 years running ST tires on 4 different TT's and a small fleet of both boxed and flat equipment trailers, most of them offshore made. There is not one failure I can not attribute to some sort of road hazard.
