New sunnybrook raven

Oh My Golly, how scary and nervous for you. We bought the 7 year extended warranty, and I have a feeling when the year is up, the coach will be in the repair shop, and it won't be at the place in Turlock, CA. We love RVing, which is wonderful; please do not let that episode get you down. It is a great way to travel, and I look forward to retiring in 1.5 years for my husband and I to do so, and hopefully we will have the bugs out!

We purchased a Winnebago Raven Sunnybrook 3250 RE Fifth Wheel late July in the Central Valley. This is not our first RV, it is our third. Had repairs done while we did the walk-through. Came home, and the slide with the refrigerator ripped the linoleum and it has become worse. The dealer cannot work us in until mid-November! We have used it twice, with cancelling our trip this weekend, due to an electrical problem with the cord to the unit. The RV dealer we bought it from cannot accommodate us until mid November, and we have 10 items for them to repair. Winnebago gave us the OK to bring it to a repair shop, fix the cord, and they will reimburse us.

Don't just call your dealer who sold the unit to you; call Winnebago and have them work it out. The other items are cosmetic, and we can live with them. My husband has a trip in two weeks, we have two trips in October, and one on Veterans' Day weekend, We couldn't just have the coach sit.

My husband and I discussed and felt the next time, buy a coach one year old, and buy the extended warranty through Good Sam. Our other units never had this many problems.

Well here is an update on the 2013 raven 2980bh.. first off lots of little problems, cosmetic mostly the shower stall seperated from the shower base and leaked water everywhere. The biggest problem was Thursday when I was driving further north to visit family it started snowing pretty good and truck went sideways. After I gained control I looked at my brake controller and noticed it said no connection all my lights were on just no brakes.. I checked my truck out tonight and it was fine.. stay away from winnebago..

2910rl, the ONLY thing I didn't like was the lack of counterspace in kitchen. But since everything else was perfect we may compromise. Do you plan to put a generator up front?

We walked through that unit very nice. As far as generator will see I have a Honda 3000 that I take with me. We were at the dealer today for a few little issues but voyager is very good.. We are in Chilliwack now and are verypleased with the towing. Half a tank to chilliwack from winfield. Not bad considring the hills we climb with a 10000 lb fiver.. I would grab that unit before it is gone!!!

We bought a 2012 Raven back in Jan of this year. We have been on 12 trips so far with 3 more scheduled before the end of Aug. and LOVE IT! Lots of cabinet and storage space which is what a big plus for both of us. Tows great for DH and when we have the grandaughters there is plenty of room vs the truck camper we had prev.

We have a 2005 Sunnybrook Sunset Creek TT. Love it pulls great and comfortable.

Well we made the 8 hour drive with our Jayco 27by in tow to meet our new sunnybrook raven 2980bh. Well all I can say is wow. the wife and I were in shock this thing at just under 37 feet is massive. The kids have there own bunk room and we have more space then I could imagine. Trailer tows nice we do have to go back to the dealer in the am to get a small knick in the floor looked at and to get the toilet paper holder mounted.. I will post some pick when I get a chance..
