New tires from Discount Tire.... messed up

Just got new tires mounted at Discount Tires. They said they would jack trailer at springs. Instead, they put four floor jacks, one under each axle right in back of the brake drum. Well, as I drove home, my brake controller (Prodigy) showed the "S/H" icon.
So, I've got a short. Obviously they crimped the brake wires.
Just a word of warning. Now I've got to crawl under and check out the four areas and hopefully only need electrical tape, or worse will have to solder the wires. Anyone have a similar experience?

    Mine was a dis-similar experience. Discount put 6 tires on my Voltage without incident and I'm very happy with their work.

    Next time jack it up yourself and take the four wheels to the tire store. That way they only mount/balance the tires.

    Not sure where OP is, but where I'm from, Discount/America's Tire is a great company. I have been a very satisfied customer for over 25 years. How has your experience been with the company?

    I've always had good professional service from Discount Tires. But lets be realistic. Tire mounting is not a task done by upper management at any tire store.

    Fix it yourself. Then make sure to contact the store and take pictures if you can of the mistake. You might be able to get something from the store for there mistake. Discount has always treated me well when they have made mistakes.

    Many auto parts stores sell splices. Some are even shrink tubing and crimp connectors all in one. Find the crushed wires, splice in new sections if needed. Test your work.

    No, but I watch tire guys like a hawk. Don't you just love incompetence?
