Ours is a 50 amp system. When we go to a campground that only has 30 amp, I have an adapter that plugs into the 50 amp socket on the trailer, and it has a 30 amp plug, so I use a 30 amp extension. I actually like this, the 30 amp cord is easy to handle. A 50 amp cord is very stiff. But if 50 amp is available, I use the 50 amp cord.
