The tires on the 5er will track inside your truck tires. That is why you need to make wide turns. As for backing, when I made the switch from TT, I went to an empty parking lot and played a while. Then, since it was early in the season and our local Ohio state park wasn't open yet, I went to the state park campground, and backed into a bunch of sites. This was the best practice.
