Another thing to do is pop the hood on all three, that should help with your decision.
Agreed.... Paying special attention to the oil filter access if you service your truck.
When I look down at my CTD I can see the ground. Can you?
After 5 years and 125k miles and not a single repair on my PSD.... And being able to view the ground is a selling point...Yeah OK
Go change the oil on a 2016 CTD and give us a full report!
Actually it's a very easy job. Look at my post on the TDR "EASY! 2013 up oil change.
Oh and Ford has good tow mirrors. Kinda ugly IMHO but work well from many reports. - goducks10ExplorerI take mine to the local Ram dealer so it's not my problem where the oil filter is. @64 years young I'm done doing oil changes.

Your GVWR is 16250 - pretty light for a 41' rig. That's about what my old 37' toy hauler weighed and it was fine with my 2004 CTD Ram. My current 5er is 19000 and it definitely wasn't OK with the 2004 Ram. In 2011 the Silverado 3500HD was the only one spec'd for that weight so I bought that, but I believe all the big 3 can handle 16250 now.
Buy a dually - you'll thank me.
The 2010 Ram 3500 Dually with a 4.10 was also Spec'ed to tow that weight. My HR had a. GVW of 16,950#, loaded to 16,050# - larry_barnhartExplorer

I did mine up until about 2 years ago. By the time I buy 12 qts of Rotella and an OEM filter, then get out the 5 gal bucket and a piece of ply to protect my brand new driveway, then have to take the oil to be recycled and spend 2-3 washings to get the stink off my hands, I can pay about $35 more to have someone else do it. Priceless IMO.
And thats not even accounting for the times when it's raining or damp and 40* here in the PNW. Nothing worse than needing the oil changed in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb here in Oregon.
Well maybe somewhere like North Dakota. ha - joebedfordNomad II

Some of the manufacturers retroactively changed the weight ratings for their trucks. At the time, only Chev was spec'd to do the job.joebedford wrote:
