So where's everyone going for the New Year weekend? We're going to Teagle Wash/Red Mountain area, camping on either Teagle Wash rd. or pipeline depending on availability. Stop by for a frosty adult beverage if you're in the area, look for the Viewfinder signs/flags or "Toys R Us" signs. Be there midday Thursday through midday or so Sunday

Just getting over acute broncitus that mostly everyone seems to have. With desert temps in the teens at night and 40 mph winds are No Bueno!!!

The Oregon coast between Astoria and Coos Bay will be our next trip. No toys with us this time, but we will be scouting out future places we may want to visit with our toys.

First time in 11 years, not going, our camping group has been getting smaller every year and not one of them is going. I know that shouldn't stop us but I don't believe in riding alone and the kids need the distractions of others.

It was one of the first trips we had a sat dish and receiver so we got to watch the Rose parade and Rose Bowl game in the middle of the desert 30 miles from the nearest town.Everyone brought their Christmas Trees...it was spectacular to watch the trees go up in flames at the campsites scattered around New Years eve.

Seriously??? We used to ride with the Viewfinders back in the late '70s and early '80s! Are there any of the Oldtimers still around?

One of the best New Year trips was to an Off Road race near El Centro. It was one of the first trips we had a sat dish and receiver so we got to watch the Rose parade and Rose Bowl game in the middle of the desert 30 miles from the nearest town.

Everyone brought their Christmas Trees...it was spectacular to watch the trees go up in flames at the campsites scattered around New Years eve.
