New Years Weekend

Weather looking iffy for Friday, so we did Inscription Cyn today. Wife drove 50 miles of it, I drove the other 50 miles. 100 miles in one day can be long. We left at 10AM, Two quick stops on the way. Got there at 1PM. Stayed until a little after 2PM. I drove home. Got back a little after 4PM, very cold the last 20 minutes. You really want to be parked by 3:30PM in this weather. 100 mile trip might be too long for this time of year, wanted to spend another hour in the area, but had to head out and get back to camp. A different time of year might be better, where the days are longer and warmer.

Friday weather iffy, with possible showers. We'd consider Pinnacles Friday, depending. If not Randsburg and/or X-15 Crash Site is very doable on Friday.
