You are probably OK, but only scales will truly tell.
When you weigh, you need to include EVERYTHING you may carry for a long trip. In the truck: People, tools, hitch, full tank of fuel, firewood, dog, cooler of beer, cooler of Cokes, chocks, leveling boards, power cord extensions, etc. In the trailer: food, drinks, dishes & cooking gear, linens, water, propane, batteries, grill, lawn chairs, more tools, etc.
Over time the weight of both the truck and the trailer will grow about 10% before you get around to pulling everything out and getting rid of the "stuff" you never use.
By then you will be looking at a bigger trailer.
