#2 diesel for most of the trucks, year round. HOWEVER, if your in the COLD climates after October/November, the pumps will probably have #1, which is processed to NOT GEL, which diesel can do in REALLY COLD weather (well below freezing for weeks). Only effect I could see would be fueling up in Myrtle Beach with a hundred gallons in November, hauling into Maine (non-stop/no refuel) and trying to start the truck in January.
