No. 2 diesel is the "normal" summer grade fuel. No. 1 has additives to thin it out for easier cold weather starting. The diesel is the same regardless of which pump you get it out of. Just make sure you are getting diesel!

I'm always baffled by the truck lanes. This trip I pulled up and saw #1, #2, or MIXED. Being a newbie, I left and went to another station.
I hate that they don't take cards at the pumps. That is just silly in today's world of computers.
Oh, I would also warn people that the big fat nozzles will splash all over the place when the tank is full on my GMC. The nozzle doesn't cut off fast enough when the tank is full. I have to slow way down when the tank is about full.
Do you push your nozzle in ALL the way?
It's been a while since I had to use a big nozzle, but they will not go all the way in. I just hold it while filling up, and it is still a lot faster than most smaller nozzles. Keep in mind they are designed for filling 100 gal. plus tanks. Also keep in mind that I am not the most experienced person on here!

Also I have never seen "mixed", that's a new one on me.
